Location Matters
Direct light from above or behind casts unflattering shadows, making the intricate tasks challenging. While backlighting might elevate the room’s ambiance, it falls short for practical vanity use.
The goal? Ideally, lighting that's directly in front of you. By strategically placing lights on, beside, or around the mirror, you're ensuring an even distribution of light on your face, casting no shadows.
But what happens when lighting in front isn’t possible? Fret not. Sometimes, architectural or design constraints mean we can't have lights in front. It's not the end of the world.
