From the manufacturing, to the life of each fitting, we are committed to making sure that Faze luminaires have the lowest environmental impact possible. At Faze we constantly make sure that not only the highest quality components are used in our luminaires, but also that our research and design behind each and every product is extensive. This ensures that the end result for all our projects are of the highest caliber, that we have the best power efficiency and that our luminaires are responsibly sourced and manufactured.

Energy Efficient Design to Reduce our Carbon Footprint and Yours!
Through smart design tactics and responsible sourcing of materials, we’re designing products that minimise the amount of energy that they use, whilst having class leading performance. Energy efficient lighting is one of the most significant ways in reducing power consumption and minimising the detrimental effects of lighting to the environment. In Australia lighting represents approximately 12% of the total electricity used in a household and 25% of the total electricity used within a business or commercial property. Looking at these numbers you can see why energy efficient lighting is so important. By using energy efficient lights, greenhouse gas emissions are minimised, electricity bills are reduced and the carbon footprint of our lifestyle is significantly improved. The subsequent benefits extend to not only the environment, but also businesses and households.

Decrease Greenhouse Gas Emissions
We have taken steps forward in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. This includes reducing our packaging for more efficient transportation, using completely electric warehouse equipment, maximising energy efficiency and making use of motion and daylight sensors to control our showroom and warehouse lighting.

Recycle
We utilise as many recyclable materials as possible in our manufacturing process. This includes 100% recyclable aluminium, recyclable PMMA and polycarbonate and cardboard packaging. Our packaging has also been improved by working towards eliminating non-eco-friendly friendly plastics that were previously used within the packaging. We continue to research further biodegradable options for our packaging and products.

Reduce Waste
Unnecessary waste contributes greatly to damaging and polluting the environment, to improve our position with waste control we have implemented better procedures in our manufacturing process. This includes the use of interchangeable components, up-cycling old components and devices and increasing our use of recyclable materials.
